TechCeFaCos International’s Programmes:

 

1. ICT for Sustainable Development

This project aims to define, promote and facilitate the use of information and communication technologies in the development process of rural communities by increasing the exposure to computers and IT as well as associate benefits for rural communities and encouraging and empowering technical and educational opportunities as well as socio economic networks like LUGs

Tele-CEMOLI Project:

 

TeleCentre:

The central focus of this intervention is to set up a centre with low cost tech to serve rural communities in Cameroon with basic ICT public services and social security service delivery as means for bridging the digital gap and promote the concept of e-democracy.

We encourage the use of computers and multimedia tools as well ICTs providing technical support and micro credit as well as learning opportunities for basics computer literacy to everyone and further training to special talented youth.

We also provide a model of basic computer literacy among communities as well as among academy and educational

Institutions.

 

TeleMobile:

To alleviate the problem of computer scarcity in rural communities as well as associate problems relating to sustainable ICT services we work to ensure that all rural studies are computer literate as well as open to

modern working atmosphere and socioeconomic opportunities. This activity consists in creating a mobile team of IT experts with portal IT equipment and toolkits to serve rural communities and schools with special ICT services and establish a flexible data entry system of information and communication.

 

TeleLink Initiatives

Utilizing and exploiting telecom techniques we aim to develop an information and communication system for gathering, validating and updating community development issues on agriculture, health, to share through SMS, Voice Mail, ITM etc… Particularly we provide and coordinate access for Telephone Conferences and an integrate technological approach toward information and communication access for community development

 

 

2. Community Development

Based on a collection of ideas and resources this programme aims to help rural communities to move into the use of information technologies as part of the development processes.

 

Activities:

 

Community Development Portal (Bui Online) Project.

This innovative project focuses on providing to communities an on line portal to receive and share information related to vital issues for the daily activities of the community itself, as agriculture, health, etc.

 

3. Volunteering & Development

This is one of our programmes that offer a variety volunteering opportunities-voluntary service, online and placement; for development purpose such as teaching, project writing and search for potential donors.

 

 

 

4. Capacity Building

Our capacity building programme is to provide services that empower individuals and groups such as institutions, and other NGOs using creativity and technology initiatives. 

Activities:

ICT Empowerment Project.

Trough this initiatives we organize workshops and trainings for institutions’’ representatives, NGOs’ representatives, etc… on the importance of technology initiatives in the development process and we provide practical case studies on project strategies for interventions aiming to increase the use of technology in rural communities.

 

5. Vocational Training

We offer many diverse kinds of vocational training programs, certifications, and diploma programs, and corresponding courses based on ICTs.
