Founders

TechCeFaCos NGO Cameroon is the brain child of Emmanuel F. SEVIDZEM-efs, founded in the early 2000s in Kumbo town after long socio-educational experiences. It all started like a play, but today it springs up through great developmental initiatives with the enabling support of members and well-wishers at home and abroad.
Focus: The founder had in mind arts and computer studies, as vital educational and training aspects for self reliance and employment, which were lacking from our educational system both primary and secondary. Hence, ‘Technical Centre for Fine Arts and Computer Studies’ (TechCeFaCos Group) became the pivot for strategies to fill the gap.

Today, the focus and strategies have been modified and broadened, due to the following reasons:

• The introduction of computer studies in secondary schools-word and data processing as well as computer science
• The introduction of arts studies in primary schools, as a ‘National Culture’.
