December 2009 Holiday For Hope in Cameroon

TechCeFaCos partnered with Dreams For Kids USA to conduct the 1^st ever Holiday For Hope event in Kumbo, Cameroon that is aimed at reaching-out to, sharing and celebrating with the underprivileged children, a joyful Chrismas that gives them hope of some prosperity in the coming years.

Dreams For Kids USA started this practice in Chicago on Dec. 24, 1989 and now it has spread to 50 countries like Cameroon, India, Bangladesh, Denmark, Ghana, Egypt, Israel, and Pakistan. It is the world's largest holiday event for the homeless and underprivileged kids. You can read more about this joint undertaking in this attached document.

The target was 150 kids of the Ngambe-Tikar community of the central region and the two organizations shared with them gift-parcels of cloths, foods and toys. It was a very successful event held on December 19, 2009 and is the first of many more such events in the years to come.
